First present of the day! It’s The Collected Sequential by Paul Hornschemeier.

Flatmate also gave me this little Le Creuset mortar and pestle.

Then it was time to pick up a new member of the family. I shot two test rolls of film during the day, hopefully they will turn out good.

Next part of my birthday was spent at Conspiracy Inc!

Amalie had brought some awesome cake from a French patisserie.

And this is what I ended up with. It’s a rockin’ unicorn – geddit?! Done by the awesome Uncle Allan (photo also by him). I had such a good time there, as always – thanks, guys!

Birthday dinner at my parents’ house was SO GOOD!

Kimbap, bulgogi, two types of kimchi, a ton of banchan and Korean goodness. It was grand, no less.

My parents got me a blender! I’m guessing fruit cocktails will be frequent in the future.

Other presents included this Medina CD that came in the mail from someone, a ticket to see Kings of Convenience with one of my favourite people, a book gift certificate and some money. Pretty good, if you ask me! Also, this is a pretty amazing gift in itself.

All in all a fantastic day, despite being sick and really tired! Thank you all for your birthday wishes, it means a lot!
