preparing rice

I can’t live without rice. I could eat rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For instance:
- breakfast; a bowl of rice, kimchi, some kind of duck, an omelette and a glass of milk.
- lunch; a bowl of rice with added egg, soy sauce and little bit of sesame oil, kimchi, panfried vegetables and a glass of water.
- dinner; a bowl of rice, kimchi, a small bowl of soup, samgyeopsal, raw vegetable sticks, a glass of water and a glass of wine.

And I can tell everybody

the bees knees

So, the big news is… I got a job in China! I had dinner with a friend a while ago, who offered me the job and I didn’t even have to think about it. When would I get another chance like that? I am going to go there straight from Korea, so I won’t be back in Denmark before some time next year. When exactly is still unsure. How exciting is this?! I know I am really excited, and start to panic slightly when thinking about packing!

I am really happy about this, though. It couldn’t have come at a better time!

All I want for… my birthday.

Well, my birthday is in less than two weeks. My biggest wish is a new iPod. Since mine was stolen I have realised how much I actually used it, and with all the traveling I will be doing soon I am starting to panic a bit. I cannot afford one myself, and since I doubt any one else can afford one, I think I might have to… well, get an mp3 player that is not an iPod. That feels a bit weird.

Other wishes: external hard drive for photos, money for traveling and living and um, a tattoo. Some new clothes would be nice, too, but is not something I desperately need. Ahem.

Also, I have some big news, kind of, which I will reveal in my next post! Ooh.

You’re the apple of my eye

apple

Work is exceptionally boring these days.
I have Thursday and Friday off to move things out for the person who is going to be living in my room while I am away. Scary. And exciting!

All that matters is the bass and the movement

dresses

On friday I saw Atmosphere live for the second time. It is really hard to compare the two shows since the first time I saw them was a couple of years ago at an indie(rock, mostly) festival in Sweden during the day time, where there were about 10-20 people tops and it was really intimate in a way, even if it was a massive stage and tent (for 20 people, anyway). This time they did a sold out show in Copenhagen at night, and people were really getting into it, so it was basically just a massive party. Both shows were spectacular.

In other news, I got the first test roll back from the Pentax I got from the fleamarket and I made a favicon!
