I wish this Sunday morning had looked like this and had been followed by a walk on the beach, like my last day in Long Beach, NY.
I hope you all had a nice weekend!

I don’t want for us to take pills anymore, not that it’s bad
Sunday, November 29th, 2009I’m alive with fly visions that attack like Alfred Hitchcock raising rabid carrier pigeons
Saturday, November 28th, 2009Well I’m just gonna have to tell you all the facts
Wednesday, November 25th, 2009Really old Banana Republic angora t-shirt, vintage skirt and Justin boots (they are all I wear lately).
Red Helvetica Moleskine, obviously. Oh, this was a test for my new Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens!
Closeup of the dress I got at Beacon’s Closet.
There have been a few couple of moments of sunshine! Got to try and catch ‘em all, like Pokémon. Ahem.
Vintage YSL cardigan, really old H&M polo shirt, vintage skirt from Etsy.
Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Marc Jacobs clutch wallet, Eight hour cream, Moleskine daily diary, Nokia phone, bobby pins and hair elastics, keys, earplugs, dad’s glasses (and my reflection!).
1. Vintage cardigan, favourite, most soft t-shirt ever which I got as a gift, shorts from somewhere I don’t really remember in a mall in Australia.
2. Same vintage cardigan, though not pictured, really old t-shirt I cannot remember where is from, vintage skirt.
How was that for digitally photographed outfit overload!
Please ignore my vacant stares
Tuesday, November 24th, 2009I am glad I got some sun while I was in New York, it is a rare thing here these days. It almost got to me today. Another dark, grey day with rain during the only 15 minutes of daylight I get in a whole day while biking to work.
I try not to think about it too much. Keeping busy helps and listening to music that makes me happy (I’m digging Violent Femmes extra much lately, and Feelies still).
What do you do to keep the darkness from taking over your soul (yes, how’s that for dramatic effect)?
When I yield, so will she
Saturday, November 21st, 2009Food markets are awesome, we used to go to one every Saturday while I was growing up – a tradition I always appreciated. It’s the best thing, just looking at food everywhere. I mean, not only does food taste good, it also looks amazing in its raw shapes and colours. And then, you know, there’s smells and, if you’re lucky, tastes, and packaging and sounds presenting every little thing. I really love looking at food, it makes me tingle with glee (hunger follows shortly thereafter).
