Happy Merry Holidays

christmas 2011

Here’s a photo from Christmas 2011 in Sdr. Bork, western jutland. This is where we are spending Christmas this year, with Rasmus’ family in the countryside.

I’ve had an incredible year, even if it started out a bit rocky. I’m enrolled in my dream school, and travel opportunities have been very generous. I’m not sure where this blog is headed – with Instagram, the death of Google Reader and things like that, I’m no longer sure it’s really necessary. I love analogue, and I will keep shooting film, but maybe I will be moving somewhere else that’s easier to update and keep track of, now that Flickr has decided to make sharing images kind of annoying. If you have any thoughts about this topic, email me or contact me through Twitter?

Anyway, happy holidays – whoever you are, wherever you are. All the best to you!

Kinfolk dinner

Staying with the founders of Kinfolk definitely had its perks. Like this dinner, for instance. You can find myself and Rasmus in the cookbook.

A day trip with @MyHungryEye

Monday, December 23rd, 2013

I’m so happy I got to meet one of my oldest Instagram friends – Jenna of My Hungry Eye. We’d been following each other pretty much since the beginning, and hanging out with her is one of my fondest memories from this trip. We had such an awesome time driving around Portland and out to Multnomah Falls and swimming in the river. So grateful for the time we spent together! I hope we can hang out again some day, in Copenhagen or maybe Iceland!?

We stayed in Vancouver, WA, just on the other side of the Columbia River from Portland, OR. Nathan and Katie’s house was amazing and the perfect place to relax after having been on the road and sleeping in different beds every night for a while. The hospitality we met on this trip was just beautiful.
